My Story

Rose Padrick is a Brevard County author and freelance writer, born into an Italian-Irish inner New York city family, she lived a Huckleberry Finn-like childhood on Florida's Space Coast. Her experiences as this child, a mother and a grandmother serve as inspiration for her column, 'Rose's Room' previously in Florida Today, Home Town News, Todays Senior, and presently in Port Saint John Happenings.
Rose’s short stories and articles have been featured in Woman's World Magazine, RV Life, Pet Gazette, Camping Today, Quiltworks and many other popular publications. Friendship with Col. Hiram Mann led to a short story on the Tuskegee Airmen published in Florida Today.
Her contributions to The Art of Grandparenting and Gratitude come straight from the heart with humorous twists which is the way she chooses to view life in general. How To Survive The Holidays Stress Free….Almost! is her holiday survival guide about early holiday preparation and just a good read.
Available for speaking engagements, Rose has appeared before several veterans groups and ladies clubs.
